scoutwienerwald.org is the official website for the S.C.O.U.T. Wienerwald campsite in Lower Austria. The site presents the facilities, offers a booking system, shares news and updates, and provides a digital guestbook for visitors.
Our team of four developed the site in WordPress over three months. I was responsible for setting up WordPress, migrating the server, integrating the booking system, configuring email accounts, customizing plugins to fit the overall design, and ensuring smooth communication with the client in personal meetings. I also wrote user guides for the booking system and guestbook, provided client training, and prepared the initial project offer.

This project showed me the importance of client communication, documentation, and user training in web development. Beyond pure technical implementation, I learned how to adapt tools within budget constraints and deliver a complete solution that remains accessible for the client long after handover.
